Handcrafted in the contemporary era by me , this one-of-a-kind pendant features a dark antiqued woven texture and a tapered, elongated silhouette that secures a raw purple amethyst focal.
This one-of-a-kind pendant features a raw, lilac-hued amethyst cabochon, showcasing the natural crystalline depth and subtle dark inclusions unique to the stone. The amethyst is cradled in a complex copper framework that has been oxidized to a deep, chocolate brown and polished to reveal high-shine rosy highlights. Above the stone, the wire is hand-formed into a series of interlocking rings, creating a sense of movement and symbolic connection. The piece is crowned with a broad, tapestry-style woven bail that provides a sturdy and decorative finish to the silhouette.
The soft violet tones of the amethyst paired with the industrial feel of the antiqued copper make this an ideal accessory for a Victorian-inspired or "dark academia" wardrobe. It looks particularly striking when worn against deep charcoal, forest green, or plum fabrics. For a more casual look, style it on a simple waxed cord over a chunky knit sweater to emphasize the organic textures of the wire and stone. As the copper continues to develop its own natural patina over time, the pendant will gain even more depth, becoming a truly personal heirloom-style piece.
Details: The pendant size is 2" in height by 1" width. Does not come with a chain.
