Set of 3 Vintage Renewal Dollhouse Figures. Includes 2 no 44 (4.25") and one no 43 (4"). Definitely show age and use. See photos.
Step back into a mid-century playroom with this authentic set of three vintage dollhouse figures by Renwal. Dating to the late 1940s, these figures are early examples of American-made hard plastic toys. The lot includes one Mother figure (No. 43) in a red suit, standing 4 inches tall, and two Father figures (No. 44) in blue suits, each standing 4.25 inches tall. Each figure has movable arms for posing.
These are truly historical pieces that have been very well-loved and carry the story of their past playtimes with them. They are in heavily play-worn condition, with significant paint loss and scuffing, all clearly visible in the photos. One of the father figures has a vintage bandage on his leg, a charming and unique part of his personal history. These figures are perfect for a collector who appreciates the authentic character of timeworn toys.
They would be a fantastic addition to a period dollhouse display, a diorama, or an altered art project. They are not pristine examples but are full of nostalgic character, perfect for anyone who values the history and visible journey of vintage toys.
This set is vintage, over 70 years old. While it appears to be in well-loved, play-worn condition, there may be other minor imperfections that I missed.
