A fantastic piece of Minnesota grocery history, this is a limited edition diecast bank by ERTL, created to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Cub Foods in 1993. This collectible is modeled after a 1931 Ford Model A-style panel delivery truck and is a wonderful piece of regional nostalgia.
The truck features a white and gray color scheme, bright red spoked wheels, and a black textured cab roof. The side panels are emblazoned with the colorful "25th Anniversary 1968-1993" Cub Foods logo, and the driver's door is clearly marked "Limited Edition."
This is a fully functional locking coin bank with a slot on the roof of the cargo box. The bank is in excellent vintage condition with bright, crisp graphics and clean paint, appearing to have been used for display only.
This is a perfect gift for a current or former Minnesotan, a past or present Cub Foods employee, a collector of grocery store memorabilia, or anyone who collects diecast advertising trucks.
This item is vintage, over 30 years old. While it appears to be in excellent condition, there may be minor imperfections that I missed.
