Vintage Imperial Glass Amberina Lace Edge 5" Vase. Measures about 5" in height. Excellent condition.

The piece is crowned with Imperial's iconic open-work "Lace Edge" (sometimes called Latticino) and stands elegantly on three small, scrolled feet. Additional detail:
Imperial Glass Company's #473 line, often referred to by collectors as "Lace Edge" or sometimes "Fenwick." The Amberina effect was achieved by adding a small amount of gold to the glass formula and then reheating the top portion of the vase after it was formed. This reheating process, known as "striking," caused the glass in that area to turn red. The beautiful color transition is a hallmark of this type of glass.
