Vintage Ivory and Gold Ceramic Trinket Dish. Measures about 3" in height with lid, 6.25" long and 2.75" wide. The lid is not a tight fit and it isn't supposed to be. Very good condition.

This exquisite ceramic trinket dish offers a refined touch of Regency-style elegance for a vanity or bedside table. The piece is finished in a creamy ivory glaze, accented by hand-painted gold scrolls that trace the scalloped edges of both the base and the lid. Its most striking feature is the reticulated design, with delicate vertical slats carved into the sides of the bowl and the domed lid, allowing a glimpse of the treasures held within. A gracefully curved handle atop the lid provides a functional yet ornamental finishing touch.

Likely dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s, this dish reflects the era’s fondness for Hollywood Regency and Victorian Revival aesthetics. The loose-fitting lid is characteristic of decorative porcelain from this period, designed for easy access to jewelry, cotton pearls, or small keepsakes. This piece would be a sophisticated addition to a "Boudoir" themed collection, lending a sense of timeless luxury to any display. For a complete look, style it on a mirrored tray alongside vintage perfume bottles or a silk jewelry roll. Its combination of soft ivory tones and gleaming gold makes it a versatile accent for both contemporary and classically styled interiors.

This item is vintage, approximately 55 years old. All measurements are close but approximate. I measure in quarter inches.
