This Vintage Enamel Roaster features an elongated oval silhouette and a cold, heavy metal texture, offering a rustic aesthetic for curated kitchen or open shelving displays.
A true workhorse of the mid-century American kitchen, this large-scale roasting pan is finished in classic white enamel with contrasting black trim on the handles and rim. Accompanied by four small enamel cups featuring a cheerful red-stripe border, this set evokes the rugged charm of historic camp cookware or a bustling farmhouse scullery. While the cups likely joined the roaster later in its life, they share a similar weathered soul that tells a story of decades of use.
The condition of this set is fair, characterized by significant enamel chipping and areas of discoloration that provide an authentic, time-worn patina. The roaster remains structurally solid and heavy, though it is best suited for decorative use, such as holding seasonal gourds, chilling bottled drinks at a summer party, or acting as a unique planter for a herb garden. The cups, with their varied chips and stains, add a punch of vintage character to a windowsill or can be used as quirky organizers for small craft supplies. This set is a find for those who find beauty in the imperfect and the reverent history of well-loved kitchen tools.
Details: Measures about 20" in length by 11.5" wide and is 4" deep without the lid. The cups measure about 2.5" om height by 4" wide. Fair condition. The enamel has quite a few chips. The roaster feels solid but may need work. The cups may not be the same set. They are also pretty chipped and a little discolored. It is quite large.
This item is vintage, approximately 80 years old. All measurements are close but approximate. I measure in quarter inches.
