Add a unique twist to your holiday decor with this altered 1993 "Playtime for Santa" figurine from the KSA Collectibles Fabriche line. Originally designed by Kurt S. Adler, this handcrafted piece features the signature stiffened-fabric "Fabmache" construction that gives these collectibles their lifelike, expressive appearance. In this custom version, Santa is seen taking a break on his toy trunk, traditionally holding a wooden soldier while a small, shimmering styrofoam skull rests beside him.

This piece belongs to the beloved Fabriche collection, known for its diverse and whimsical depictions of Santa Claus. Standing approximately 8 1/2 inches tall, it blends classic 1990s Christmas nostalgia with a playful Halloween or "Creepy Christmas" aesthetic. This figurine was carefully modified from a previously damaged item, giving it a second life as a one-of-a-kind conversation piece for a mantle, bookshelf, or tiered tray. It remains in very good condition, showcasing the hand-painted details and textured fabrics that define the Kurt Adler legacy.

This item is vintage, over 30 years old. The skull addition is new. While it appears to be in very good condition, there is the possibility I may have missed a minor detail. In the unlikely event I missed a major flaw, I would reach out prior to sending it.
