Vintage 1956 Hand Painted Wood Plate: Norwegian Rosemaling, Folk Art Decor

1956 Hand Painted Wooden Decor Plate, Hjertelig Hilsen. Measures about 12". No wall hanging hook. Very good condition.

This is a beautiful piece of vintage Scandinavian folk art, dated 1956. The round wooden plate has been skillfully hand-painted in the traditional Norwegian Rosemaling style, featuring a vibrant floral arrangement with stylized scrolls and flourishes. Above the artwork is the lovely Norwegian phrase, "Hjertelig hilsen," which translates to "Heartfelt Greetings." A delicate painted vine completes the border.
