Vintage Andrea Lady in a Pink Dress Ceramic Powder Box. Victorian style lady holding a fan. Measures about 6.5" in height by 6.25" wide. Very good condition. Has a spot that looks like a crack but I do not think it is. It does not go through if it is.

This enchanting ceramic powder box by Andrea captures the romantic elegance of the mid-century boudoir. Modeled in the classic "Crinoline Lady" style, the piece serves as both a functional vanity jar and a charming decorative figurine. The hand-painted details are particularly lovely, from the delicate expression on the lady’s face to the intricate ruffles and blue swags adorning her sweeping pink gown. Her pale blue hat and matching fan add a touch of sophisticated flair, making this a standout piece for any collector of vintage porcelain.

The silhouette and soft pastel palette make this an ideal addition to a Dark Academia vanity setup, where it can provide a soft, historical counterpoint to heavier wood tones and antique brass. Originally intended to hold loose face powder or trinkets, it remains a versatile object for modern use—perfect for storing jewelry on a nightstand or simply as a focal point in a curated display. The craftsmanship reflects the quality of mid-century Japanese ceramic imports, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the glamour of the 1950s.

This item is vintage, approximately 70 years old.
