Vintage M.B. Parkinson Cupid Awake and Asleep Prints. They measure 9" by 7". Prints are in very good condition. The painted yellow wood frame has some scrapes.

This charming pair of vintage prints features the iconic "Cupid Awake" and "Cupid Asleep" photography by Morris Burke Parkinson. Originally captured in 1897, these images became a staple of Victorian and Edwardian home decor. The photographs feature Josephine Anderson, the young daughter of a friend of the photographer, posing as a cherub with a miniature bow and arrow. In one print, Cupid gazes directly at the viewer with wide, curious eyes, while in the second, the child has drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

The prints are housed in their vintage yellow-painted wood frames, which add a cheerful, cottage-core aesthetic to the classic sepia-toned images. Measuring 9" by 7", they are a perfect size for a nursery, a gallery wall, or a unique Valentine's Day display. While the prints themselves remain in very good condition with clear details, the painted frames show character-adding scrapes consistent with their history.

These items are vintage, over 60 years old. While it appears to be in very good condition, there is the possibility I may have missed a minor detail. In the unlikely event I missed a major flaw I would reach out prior to sending it.
