Vintage Porcelier Brown Medallion Teapot and Lid. Cream colored ceramic teapot with orange accents and flower. Measures 5 3/4" in height. Excellent condition.

This handsomely crafted teapot is a prime example of the "Vitreous China" that made Porcelier a staple in American homes from the late 1920s through the early 1950s. The "Brown Medallion" pattern features a striking raised-relief floral center surrounded by a textured medallion frame, highlighted by warm orange-brown accents along the rim and base. Its tiered, architectural silhouette is a hallmark of the Art Deco influence often found in Porcelier’s kitchenware.

The teapot stands 5 3/4 inches tall and is crafted from a durable, non-porous vitreous porcelain designed to retain heat while maintaining a brilliant, glossy sheen. Known for its "craze-proof" qualities, this USA-made teapot was a popular bridal shower and housewarming gift during the late 1930s and 1940s. It features a sturdy handle for a comfortable pour and a matching lid with a round finial, making it as functional today as it is decorative.

This item is vintage, over 70 years old. While the item appears to be in excellent condition, there is the possibility I may have missed a minor detail. In the unlikely event I missed a major flaw, I would reach out prior to sending it.
