  • Condition: Good vintage condition overall with fine paint overspray flecks on the glass surfaces from storage. One tumbler has minor sticker residue, and the pitcher has an internal heat check or line near the upper handle attachment that cannot be felt on the exterior or interior surfaces.
  • Extra notes: This set includes the original matching finial lid for the pitcher which is frequently missing from sets of this era.

Produced during the early 20th century, Celeste Blue was one of the most celebrated colors created by the Northwood Glass Company for their stretch glass lines. The distinctive iridescent, satiny finish was achieved by spraying the hot, shaped glass with metallic salts before re-heating it, causing the surface layer to crackle slightly as it expanded.
